Dain was waiting at the custody assembly when Iven arrived.
The commander stood beside the duty board, one gloved hand resting on the edge. Edrin had the current register open before him. Jora watched the workers fitting a broad walking aid to a man whose balance had worsened since the last clinical check.
The first custody group had its receiving place. It still lacked enough escorts released from other duty.
“Which duty?” Iven asked.
Dain looked at him. “Work-site security.”
“The extraction approach.”
“Among others.”
“The Sill accepted this group and its staff. Jora’s route is ready. They have an interval.”
