Blue light filled the data hall on Floor Five.
Overseer-04 appeared above the central server and welcomed the guests. A survey appeared before each visitor.
Guang Ming treated the questions with grave suspicion. Wu Nian answered honestly and praised the rest stations. Ling Yue gave the cooling plant the highest score and asked for a technical visit.
When the last response arrived, Overseer-04 addressed the whole group.
“The standard route ends here. Floors Six through Eight are active work areas. Floor Nine is not included in any standard pass.”
Guang Ming stepped forward. “I did not come this far to sit beside a water cooler. I demand the master of the mountain.”
“A special Floor Nine encounter may be requested. Only one hundred approved fighters may enter. The rest must remain here. A separate fee and safety briefing are required.”
Wu Nian shook his head. “My younger disciples stay here. No exceptions.”
