The evening sky above Solitude Spire transitioned from deep apricot to rich indigo.

On the front porch, Felix Vance stirred in his wooden recliner, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

The spiced mountain boar ribs from earlier had been thoroughly digested, leaving him pleasantly full, but mildly dehydrated.

He reached for the Infinite Cozy Teacup on the cedar table.

He tilted the porcelain cup back.

Only a single amber drop rolled across the porcelain rim.

"Empty," Felix sighed, setting the cup down with a light click.

He glanced at the old copper kettle sitting on the table.

He lifted the lid and peered inside: completely dry, with only a few stubborn calcium flakes clinging to the bottom.

"Out of water, too," Felix muttered, slumping deeper into his chair. "The well is all the way down by the lower garden path. That's at least eighty steps. My stamina bar can't handle that kind of cardio right now."

Beside him, the heavy cedar table remained perfectly level on the warped porch boards, held firm by Grandmaster Vivienne’s purple Sovereign Heart Seal wedged tightly beneath the front leg.

Resting on the tabletop, the glowing Soul-Pearl paperweight held down a stack of dry barley husks.

Over on the railing, Barnaby the Clockwork Owl stood patiently on his brass perches.

The black rubber stopper remained wedged tight in his beak, the shiny copper tip catching the fading twilight.

Barnaby’s clockwork eyes gave a soft whirr as they focused on Felix, followed by a muffled, resigned click from his chest.

*Click-whirrr.*

Down on the flagstone steps, Lyra Ashford was sitting cross-legged, delicately sorting dried solar mint leaves into small silk pouches.

Standing near the base of the stairs, Grand Marshal Vane-Talon stood at rigid attention in his polished plate armor, holding his helmet under his arm like an imperial guard awaiting orders.

"Senior Brother Vance," Lyra said, immediately noticing his empty cup. "Allow me to fetch fresh mountain spring water from the lower cistern."

"Nah, don't worry about it," Felix said, waving a lazy hand. "It's dark out. You'll trip over the gravel."

He pulled his AetherDeck from the pocket of his yellow dragon-scale poncho.

"Besides," Felix added, unlocking the screen, "why do manual labor when the system has an automated tap?"

Felix navigated past *Stellar Idle* and opened the utility sub-menu for *Pocket Star Sandbox*.

Inside his dantian, his internal cultivation engine hummed with a deep, soothing rhythm.

For weeks, his 1.0-Earth-Mass Sol-Class star had been spinning in close binary resonance with its super-dense companion core: a 0.15-mass White Dwarf.

The two miniature celestial bodies whirled in a stable, eternal orbit three inches behind his navel.

Where the intense, fifteen-million-degree thermonuclear heat of the yellow star met the degenerate, ultra-dense gravitational boundary of the white dwarf, a unique thermodynamic boundary layer had formed.

Cosmic plasma vapor, trapped between the burning solar corona and the icy gravitational well of the companion core, had condensed into an ultra-pure layer of liquid celestial dew.

To Felix, it was simply an uncollected byproduct icon on his screen:

[POCKET STAR SANDBOX: CONDENSATE DISTILLATION]
STANDALONE HOST
Core Configuration: Sol-Class & White Dwarf Binary System
Accretion Boundary Status: Thermodynamically Stable
Ambient Condensate Reserve: 2.4 Liters [FILTERED]
Liquid Properties:
• Purity Rating: 99.999% [ZERO PARTICULATE / ZERO SCALE]
• Dissolved Heavy Elements: 0.00 ppm
• Celestial Yin-Yang Balance: Absolute Neutral Equilibrium
[ EXTRACT CONDENSATE: 1.5 LITERS ] [ DISCARD ]

Felix tapped his finger against the screen.

"Zero dissolved scale," Felix smiled faintly. "No lime buildup on the kettle elements. Finally, some clean tap water."

He picked up the empty copper kettle, popped the lid off, and selected:

`[ EXTRACT CONDENSATE: 1.5 LITERS ]`

*Hummmmm.*

A low, resonant harmonic hum reverberated through Felix’s chest.

It didn't hurt; it felt like a warm, soothing vibration traveling down his arm, followed by a pleasant tingling sensation in his fingertips.

Felix held the spout of the kettle beneath his right palm.

A steady, crystalline stream of glowing liquid poured smoothly from the center of his hand into the copper vessel.

*Splaaaaash.*

The water was luminous, shimmering with a gentle, pale-gold and silver iridescence.

As it filled the kettle, tiny, weightless ripples orbited across the surface of the water, moving in rhythmic, concentric rings that defied ordinary fluid mechanics.

Down on the stairs, Grand Marshal Vane-Talon gasped so hard he choked on his own breath.

His knees buckled, and his platinum helmet clattered noisily onto the gravel path.

"The... the Primordial Yin-Yang Dew..." Vane-Talon wheezed, clutching his throat as his eyes widened in sheer disbelief. "He... he produces the Water of Creation directly from the void of his mortal flesh!"

Vane-Talon’s war-hardened soul trembled with terrified awe.

"In the Western Sky-Sanctuaries, a single thimble of that condensed celestial nectar would trigger a thousand-year holy war between nine imperial courts! It is liquid immortality! And he... he is pouring it into an old battered tea kettle?!"

Lyra Ashford’s hands froze over her mint pouches, her breath hitching in her chest.

*The Binary Dew of the Stars,* Lyra thought, her mind reeling as she watched the glowing stream fill the copper pot.

*Senior Brother Vance is not merely distilling water.*

*He is harnessing the absolute cosmic balance between the scorching life-fire of the Sun and the ancient, frozen density of the White Dwarf!*

*He has united the extreme Yang and the extreme Yin into a single, drinkable elixir!*

*And he does it without a cauldron! Without an alchemy array! With only a bored glance at his enchanted slate!*

*The Dao of Inaction has reached the stage of effortless creation!*

Felix set the kettle down on the low cedar table, replaced the lid with a satisfying *CLINK*, and lit the small charcoal brazier beneath it.

"Just needs three minutes to come to a simmer," Felix murmured.

He dropped a generous scoop of roasted barley kernels into the Infinite Cozy Teacup, followed by three pinched leaves of dried solar mint from Lyra’s basket.

Within moments, the copper kettle began to whistle softly.

Steam curled from the spout, smelling not of metallic copper, but of crisp autumn air and toasted grain.

Felix picked up the hot kettle by its wooden handle and poured the boiling water into the porcelain cup.

*Hiss-swirl.*

The amber liquid immediately seized the dried grains, swirling in a rapid, golden vortex.

Then, something extraordinary happened.

The tea did not cool down to match the mountain air.

Nor did it remain at a scalding, tongue-blistering boil.

Instead, a soft digital ping chimed in Felix’s vision as the liquid settled:

DEV CONSOLE
STANDALONE HOST
[BEVERAGE THERMAL EQUILIBRIUM: LOCKED]
Target Temperature: 68.5°C [COZY COMFORT PRESET]
Thermal Drift: ±0.00°C [PERMANENT EQUILIBRIUM]
Micro-Gravity Surface Tension: ENGAGED

Around the inner rim of the white porcelain cup, a thin, floating ring of delicate white foam formed.

Instead of floating flatly on the surface, the foam hovered a fraction of a millimeter above the liquid, spinning in a smooth, frictionless circle at exactly one hundred and twenty rotations per minute.

Tiny, iridescent bubbles within the foam drifted in weightless micro-orbits, like miniature moons encircling a golden planet.

Felix picked up the cup and activated his Inspector HUD:

【Item: Solar Binary Brew (68.5°C Equilibrium)】 【Type: Mythic Homebrew Beverage】 【Base Ingredients: Primordial Binary Condensate, Roasted Barley, Solar Mint】 【Equilibrium State: Permanent 68.5°C Thermal Lock】 【Special Feature: Micro-Gravity Foam Ring (Prevents Spills Under Any Tilt)】 【Inspector Note: A cup of tea brewed with water extracted from the gravitational accretion disk of a living binary star. Completely eliminates fatigue, clears blocked energy channels, and guarantees zero burnt tongues. An absolute triumph of lazy thermodynamic engineering.】

Felix tilted the cup forty-five degrees to test it.

The liquid didn't spill.

The spinning foam ring created an invisible surface-tension barrier, holding the tea perfectly contained within the porcelain rim.

"Nice," Felix muttered approvingly. "Spill-proof physics. Now I don't have to worry about knocking it over when I roll over in my sleep."

He brought the cup to his lips and took a long, leisurely sip.

*Slurp.*

The liquid touched his tongue at exactly 68.5°C—neither too hot nor too cold, but pure, velvety perfection.

The rich, nutty toastiness of the roasted barley mingled with the sweet, cool finish of the solar mint, washing down his throat like a river of warm silk.

A wave of restorative warmth bloomed in his chest, instantly replenishing his depleted stamina bar and washing away the lingering salt of the evening ribs.

"Ahhh," Felix exhaled, letting out a contented sigh. "Now that's a proper cup of tea. Clean, smooth, and zero lime aftertaste."

He looked down at the stairs.

Grand Marshal Vane-Talon was still staring at the glowing cup, his hands trembling so violently that his armor plates clattered against each other.

Lyra Ashford had her hands pressed together in reverent prayer.

Felix sighed softly.

"You guys look thirsty," Felix said, picking up two small ceramic tasting cups from the side tray.

He poured a splash of the glowing amber brew into each cup and handed them down the porch steps.

"Here," Felix said. "Try some. Be careful, it's warm, but it won't burn."

Vane-Talon took the cup with both hands as if receiving the holy grail of his ancestral bloodline.

His weathered hands shook so hard that a normal drink would have splattered across the flagstones, but the micro-gravity foam ring held the liquid completely stable.

Tears welled in the old warrior's eyes.

"To receive... a cup of the Sovereign’s personal nectar..." Vane-Talon choked out, his voice thick with emotion. "I am unworthy... entirely unworthy..."

"Just drink it before it gets cold," Felix said, leaning back into his cushions. "Well, actually, it won't get cold, but drink it anyway."

Vane-Talon brought the cup to his lips, closed his eyes, and took a small sip.

*Gulp.*

*BOOM!*

A silent explosion of pure celestial vitality tore through Vane-Talon’s body!

The ancient internal injuries he had sustained during thirty years of siege warfare—cracked meridians, shattered dantian walls, poisoned astral channels—dissolved in a single breath.

A blinding halo of golden and silver light flared around the Grand Marshal’s armor, pushing back the evening darkness for fifty yards.

His ninth-stage Astral Core, which had been stagnant for two centuries, violently expanded, breaking through to the half-step Sovereign Realm with the ease of a knife slicing through warm butter!

Vane-Talon dropped his face directly onto the gravel, sobbing with uncontrolled, ecstatic weeping.

"My meridians..." Vane-Talon wailed into the dirt. "The poison of the Nether-Lances... purged! My core... renewed! Sovereign Vance! You have granted this old dog a second life!"

Beside him, Lyra took a small, delicate sip from her cup.

Her golden eyes fluttered shut as the harmonious yin-yang vitality settled deep into her silver sword core, sharpening her spiritual perception by ten thousand leagues.

*He gave us the elixir of life... as casually as pouring water for a passing beggar,* Lyra thought, her heart overflowing with boundless adoration.

*This is the true heart of the Master.*

*He cares nothing for worldly power, for his generosity encompasses the entire cosmos.*

On the porch, Felix finished the last drop of his cup and set it back on the cedar table.

Beside him, the Sovereign Heart Seal held the table rock-steady.

Barnaby twitched his copper tip in his rubber stopper, watching the glowing tea kettle with mild curiosity.

Felix leaned his head back against the soft linen cushion of his recliner, feeling completely warm, hydrated, and relaxed.

"Good tea," Felix murmured, his eyelids growing heavy as the twilight stars began to peek through the violet sky. "Distilling water with the stellar core is way faster than walking to the well. Best quality-of-life shortcut I've found yet."

He pulled his yellow poncho up to his collar, let out a slow, peaceful breath, and drifted off into the evening breeze.
