Chapter 243: The Pirated Reality Accusation

Forty million miles beyond the solar Dyson Ring, the Primordial Arbiter Engine’s logic matrix was actively smoking.

The titanic forty-thousand-mile crystalline polyhedron spun on its axis with frantic, erratic jerks.

Having failed to deliver the mandatory Version 2.0 update over the cloud network, the Arbiter's diagnostic scanners encountered an error code never before recorded in the history of the cosmos:

`[ERROR 404: SECTOR 0-PRIME NOT FOUND ON UNIVERSAL HEAVENLY DAO NETWORK]` `[PING TIMEOUT: HOST UNREACHABLE]` `[DETECTED PIRATED LOCAL OFFLINE SERVER RUNNING ILLEGAL COPIES OF LAWS: GRAVITY, FUSION, SUNSHINE, TEA]` `[ANOMALY CLASSIFICATION: UNLICENSED CRACKED REALITY]` `[ACTION: INITIATE PHYSICAL BRUTE-FORCE PURGE TO SANITIZE COPYRIGHTED EXISTENCE]`

The twelve crystalline faces of the polyhedron flared with blinding, furious ultraviolet radiation.

If the pirated reality could not be formatted remotely over the network, the Arbiter would execute the oldest protocol in system administration: physically drop a hammer on the motherboard.

The titanic polyhedron accelerated along a direct collision trajectory toward the primary star.

Its forty-thousand-mile crystalline mass tore through the vacuum at twelve percent the speed of light, dragging a gravitational distortion wake that crushed rogue asteroids into atomic powder.

As it charged, the Arbiter’s broadcast array began broadcasting a deafening legal indictment across all spiritual frequencies:

**"ATTENTION SECTOR 0-PRIME. YOU ARE IN POSSESSION OF UNLICENSED GRAVITATIONAL CONSTANTS. YOUR SOLAR FUSION IS UNREGISTERED. CEASE AND DESIST ALL REPLICATION OF THERMODYNAMIC LAWS IMMEDIATELY."**

Down in the waiting lounge, Emperor Heng-Luo jumped out of his folding lawn chair, spilling three drops of mint tea onto his paper napkin.

"It is charging!" Heng-Luo screamed in a frantic, strangled four-decibel whisper. "The Arbiter has abandoned the data purge! It is using its physical divine body to crush our star system like an egg!"

"Look at the kinetic displacement!" Sovereign Bai-Chen gasped, his tiger fur standing straight on end. "A forty-thousand-mile celestial polyhedron traveling at blinding velocity! The gravitational shockwave alone will shatter the planet’s mantle!"

Across the aisle, Matriarch Lin clutched her jade staff, her eyes trembling as she listened to the Arbiter’s booming broadcast.

"Unlicensed sunlight..." Matriarch Lin whispered in holy bewilderment. "For three hundred million years, our sects paid ten billion immortal spirit stones every millennium as 'Heavenly Tribute' just to receive sunlight from the skies! We thought it was sacred karma! It was a licensing fee!"

"And the Sovereign cracked it..." Sovereign Bai-Chen choked out, tears of hysterical joy pooling in his eyes. "The Sovereign pirated the laws of physics! He bypassed the Heavenly Dao’s DRM! We are drinking unlicensed tea under illegal, free sunlight!"

Across the perimeter, the four thousand refugee vessels began frantically powering up their emergency inertial dampeners.

Even the three forty-mile-long Abyssal Star-Whales stopped singing, swimming toward the shelter of the primary dreadnought moonlets with anxious, protective sweeps of their massive flukes.

Inside the screened porch, Grandmaster Vivienne drew her ancient silver sword fully from its scabbard.

The blade hummed with absolute zero temperature, coating the tea table in a delicate layer of frost.

"Felix," Vivienne said, her voice dropping to a deadly, cold whisper. "The Arbiter cannot be reasoned with. It views our offline existence as an illegal rebellion against the Heavenly Dao. When it strikes the Dyson Ring, the kinetic impact will shatter seventeen dimensions. I will ignite my immortal soul and meet it in the void."

Felix didn't even put down his celadon teacup.

He was sitting in his hammock, squinting through the cedar railing at the distant white crystal hurtling toward their star.

"Master, put the sword away," Felix sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "You're getting frost on my sesame crackers."

"Felix, this is the final calamity!" Vivienne hissed, pointing her blade toward the glowing white behemoth. "It is forty thousand miles of solid primordial law traveling at forty thousand kilometers per second! You cannot ignore this!"

"I'm not ignoring it," Felix muttered, picking up his AetherDeck. "I'm annoyed by it. Look at the glare coming off that thing. It’s casting an obnoxious hexagonal shadow right across my hammock. I was about to start my afternoon nap."

He swiped open the AetherDeck’s utility menu:

DEV CONSOLE
STANDALONE HOST
[AETHERDECK HARDWARE MONITOR: OPTICAL OBSTRUCTION]
Detected: Unlicensed High-Albedo Polygon in Orbit
Distance: 38,400,000 km (Closing Velocity: 0.12c)
Albedo Reflectance: 99.8% (Obnoxious Solar Glare)
Impact on Porch Ambience: Napping Comfort Reduced by 45%
Classification: Nuisance Orbital Debris / Pest
Available Utilities:
1. [Orbital Flyswatter Protocol]
2. [Kinetic Slapdown Macro]
3. [Solar Flare Venting Shunt]

Felix tapped his chin thoughtfully.

"The flyswatter macro," Felix mused. "I haven't used that since Level 40 when those void locusts tried to eat the tomato plants."

Vivienne stared at the screen, her silver pupils trembling.

"The... the what protocol?"

"Orbital Flyswatter," Felix explained patiently, tapping the screen to bring up the calibration settings. "Early access sandboxes always have pest problems. Space bugs, rogue comets, aggressive NPC moderation drones. If you don't keep a flyswatter macro bound to a hotkey, they buzz around your porch all day."

He selected option one: `[Orbital Flyswatter Protocol]`.

A secondary configuration box popped up:

DEV CONSOLE
STANDALONE HOST
[MACRO SCRIPT CONFIGURATION: ORBITAL FLYSWATTER]

【AetherDeck Pest Control: Target locked. The Arbiter has been classified as an [Obnoxious Floating Moth]. Magnetic plasma shaping grid initialized. Mesh spacing adjusted to safeguard friendly aquatic fauna.】

Vivienne stood frozen, her silver sword lowered by several inches as she watched the data stream.

"You... you are shaping the coronal plasma of the sun into a bamboo flyswatter?" she whispered, her voice cracking in pure, unadulterated madness.

"Bamboo has the best flexural rebound," Felix replied, adjusting his straw hat. "If the mesh is too stiff, the insect just splatters against the glass and leaves grease marks. You want a good, flexible spring so it cleanly launches the bug back out into the yard."

Felix swiped over to the Dyson Ring telemetry screen.

Forty million miles away, the three hundred and sixty polished brass collector nodes pivoted inward by exactly two degrees.

Their electromagnetic plasma shunts flared with soft, iridescent emerald and rose-gold brilliance.

A vast magnetic containment field, measuring sixty million miles in length, blossomed out from the corona of the primary star.

The magnetic lines crossed and intertwined with mathematical precision, forming a titanic, translucent green-and-gold grid that looked uncannily like a traditional woven bamboo flyswatter with a flexible woven handle extending from the stellar equator.

Barnaby clicked his brass beak from his perch, zooming in with his ruby optical lenses to admire the geometric weave of the magnetic mesh.

"Look at the spacing," Felix said, pointing at the display. "Fifty-kilometer gaps in the weave. That way, if a star-whale happens to drift through the flight path, it slips right through without getting bumped. But for a forty-thousand-mile geometric crystal? Solid contact."

He rested his index finger over the large red [SWAT] button on the screen.

Out in the deep vacuum, the Arbiter was now twenty million miles away, its white crystalline facets blazing with cataclysmic fury as it prepared to erase the pirated star system from existence.

Its internal logic cores detected the sudden manifestation of the sixty-million-mile plasma structure.

`[ALERT: MASSIVE SOLAR FLARE DETECTED ALONG INBOUND TRAJECTORY]` `[ANALYZING TARGET ARCHITECTURE: WOVEN BAMBOO MESH PATTERN]` `[QUERY: IS THIS AN ANCIENT CELESTIAL FORMATION ARRAY?]` `[LOGIC EXCEPTION: ENTITY HAS ZERO SPIRITUAL INTENT. OBJECT CLASSIFIED AS... FLY CONTROL UTENSIL?]`

Felix tapped the red button.

"Shoo," Felix said.

Across sixty million miles of vacuum, the colossal green-and-gold magnetic handle flexed with a whip-like snap.

The titanic mesh head swept through the orbital plane at Mach 450,000, bending with supple, elastic elegance as it matched the Arbiter's collision angle.

Out in the silence of space, the collision occurred with absolute, devastating precision.

*THWACK.*

Because the Five-Decibel Mandate was strictly enforced across the entire sector, the cataclysmic kinetic impact did not produce an ear-shattering cosmic shockwave.

Instead, the kinetic energy was smoothly converted into acoustic suppression, producing a neat, polite sound that drifted through the porch screens like a folded morning newspaper striking a screen door:

*...thwip...*

The forty-thousand-mile crystalline polyhedron was caught dead-center in the flexible bamboo mesh.

Its mathematical deletion cannons shattered into glittering, harmless stardust.

Its forward momentum was reversed instantly as the elastic magnetic coils rebounded with immense, spring-loaded force.

The Arbiter shrieked in automated computational agony as it was swatted clean across three galactic superclusters, tumbling end-over-end into the dark, empty void outside the local universe.

`[CRITICAL HARDWARE FAILURE: HULL COMPRESSION EXCEEDS 99.8%]` `[TRAJECTORY RECALCULATED: EXIT VELOCITY EXCEEDS ESCAPE THRESHOLD OF REALITY]` `[ARBITER STATUS: DEFLECTED. ESTIMATED TIME TO RETURN: NEVER]`

Inside the porch, Felix leaned back in his hammock, blowing a speck of ash off his AetherDeck screen.

"Clean hit," Felix said, nodding with satisfaction. "Launched it right over the back fence. That should keep the glare off the porch for the rest of the day."

Vivienne dropped into the wicker recliner, her silver sword slipping from her numb fingers and clattering harmlessly against the cedar floorboards.

She stared into the peaceful, empty sky, where the distant stars of their offline universe shone with quiet, undisturbed brilliance.

"He swatted the Heavenly Dao..." Vivienne whispered into her hands, her mind finally, permanently surrendering to the divine slacker logic of her disciple. "He swatted it like a housefly."
