At 12:00 PM noon sharp, right as the five hundred giant ox-carts of golden Azure-Cloud Spirit-Rice finished unloading at the one hundred clinic storefronts across all nine districts of Sky-Crown City:.
Sixty-year-old Grandpa Fu , at Rank 4 Early Immortal Steward, stepped out onto the front veranda of Gu Family Clinic #001 on Central Market Street.
In his left hand, Grandpa Fu held his [Jade-Abacus Cane] with twenty silver abacus beads orbiting his shoulders. In his right hand, he raised a fused [Rank 4 Warm-Hearth Brass Megaphone] linked simultaneously to speaker-horns atop all one hundred clinics across the capital!
“Citizens, neighbors, elders, and workers of Sky-Crown City!”
Grandpa Fu’s warm, resonant Rank 4 Early voice boomed out of all one hundred brass megaphones at once, rolling clearly across every frozen alley and square of the nine districts:.
“By order of Patriarch Gu Changsheng of the Gu Family Peace Orphanage & Pharmacy: Starting today at noon, all one hundred [Gu Family 2-Copper Hotpot & Peace Clinics] are officially open! Inside every branch, we are serving All-You-Can-Eat Medicinal Ginger-Mutton Frost-Clearing Hotpot and unlimited bowls of steaming Warm-Hearth Five-Grain Spirit-Rice for only TWO COPPER COINS per person! And for all children under age twelve, all elders over age sixty, and all retired or disabled border soldiers—100% FREE OF CHARGE!!”
