The heavy hydraulic ramp of the Taichu transport truck clanged against the loading dock concrete. Cold morning mist drifted across the pavement, but inside the bay, the air hummed with quiet, steady energy.
Academician Fang Dequan wiped his wire-rimmed glasses with a trembling sleeve. He looked at the sealed titanium container resting on the hydraulic cradle. Beside him, Dr. Lin Wei adjusted her cleanroom jacket.
“Are you ready, Academician?” Lin Mo asked, stepping down from the cab.
“I have waited ten years for this morning, Chairman Lin,” the old scientist said. His voice was hoarse. “Ten years of cold instant noodles and broken promises from venture sharks. Today, we show them our own blood and sweat.”
Lin Mo smiled faintly. “Then let us go spoil their morning.”
They wheeled the sealed exhibition container through the VIP freight elevator. Above them, the main hall of the Jiangnan International Exhibition Center buzzed with voices, camera flashes, and the hum of industrial cooling units.
On the central elevated stage, Director Vance stood under a massive holographic banner. The logo of Munich Advanced Power shone in bright neon blue. Standing beside Vance was Patriarch Murong, dressed in a bespoke dark silk robe. Murong held a cup of imported tea and smiled at the gathered crowd of five hundred business leaders, reporters, and domestic automaker executives.
