Chapter 208: The Dyson Ring Manifests

When Felix Vance’s thumb pressed [Yes] on the glass screen of the AetherDeck, physics across the solar system yielded to the macro script.

Forty million miles away, at the fiery perimeter of the primary star, the three hundred and sixty reflective brass nodes responded simultaneously.

From the tip of each node’s golden reflector sail, a high-voltage superconducting magnetic emitter ignited.

*ZAP.*

A thin, blinding needle of coherent plasma leaped from Node #1 across the vacuum, striking the collector horn of Node #2.

Node #2 absorbed the magnetic pulse, amplified the charge through its internal fusion capacitor, and fired an identical plasma tether to Node #3.

The chain reaction circled the circumference of the star at the speed of light.

In less than three seconds, the golden electric current raced through all three hundred and sixty nodes, completing the forty-million-mile loop.

*HUMMMMM.*

A deep, subterranean vibration resonated through the gravitational fabric of the cosmos.

The three hundred and sixty individual plasma threads expanded, fusing into an unbroken, ribbon-like ring of solid liquid gold.

The ribbon was three leagues in width, hovering in mathematical perfection around the blazing solar equator.

A Kardashev-II Dyson Ring had officially manifested in the heavens.

The golden ring began to rotate at zero point one percent the speed of light, its magnetic field locking into the natural coronal cadence of the star.

As it spun, the inner concave mirrors captured zero point zero one percent of the sun’s raw surface flare output.

It was an infinitesimal fraction to the burning star.

To mortal civilization, however, zero point zero one percent of a main-sequence star’s energy output was equivalent to thirty billion spirit stone quarries operating continuously for ten thousand years.

The excess solar energy surged through the superconducting plasma tethers, flowing directly toward the primary relay node.

And the primary relay node... was the six-foot copper parabolic dish bolted to the back of Felix Vance’s wicker recliner.

A soft, golden luminescence enveloped the wicker frame.

Inside Felix's dantian, his Level 60 proto-stellar accretion disk spun in harmonic ecstasy.

The incoming energy flowed into his internal core system, filtered smoothly through the white dwarf companion, and settled into his offline storage vault without disturbing a single hair on his head.

Felix leaned back against the linen pillow, crossing his legs comfortably.

A triumphant notification chime played from the AetherDeck.

Felix let out a long, blissful breath of pure satisfaction.

"Permanent exemption from manual clicking," Felix whispered, his voice trembling with genuine emotional relief. "No more five hundred taps. No more swiping left and right. The machine does the chores, and I get the loot."

He hovered his finger over the status panel.

An Inspector HUD tooltip popped up in brilliant amber text.

【Megastructure: The Great Solar Dyson Ring】 【Creator: Felix Vance [Master Slacker]】 【Structural Durability: Indestructible Superconducting Plasma Tether】 【Thermal Distribution: Automatically siphons 0.01% excess solar heat and vents it into the planetary mana grid】 【Inspector Note: What happens when a lazy gamer refuses to do five minutes of manual finger tapping. You built an artificial planetary ring around a star just to run an automated macro script. The entire cosmos now considers you the Supreme Architect of Heaven. Sells for zero gold. Highly recommended to take a nap to celebrate.】

Felix chuckled aloud, adjusting his straw hat.

"Supreme Architect of Heaven?" Felix smirked. "I just wanted an auto-clicker. But hey, if it works, it works."

Down in the mortal world of Aethelgard, the manifestation of the Dyson Ring transformed daylight into a waking paradise.

In the courtyards of the Radiant Dawn Academy, thousands of disciples fell flat on their faces, weeping openly.

Around the primary sun, the three hundred and sixty individual golden stars had merged into a solid, glowing halo of liquid dawn.

The sky was crowned with an eternal golden band that radiated gentle, life-giving warmth.

Chancellor Valen leaned against the marble balustrade of the Astral Observatory, clutching his chest with both hands.

"The Ring of Heaven..." Valen wept, his voice echoing across the courtyard to forty senior masters. "The Senior Brother has crowned the sun itself! He has placed the Sacred Band of the Sovereign across the brow of the primary star!"

Beside him, Vice-Chancellor Morgana was reading the frantic energy readouts on her astral astrolabes.

"Chancellor!" Morgana shouted, her spectacles fogging up with tears of joy. "The ambient mana pressure! The excess solar flare that used to scorch our eastern provinces every hundred years... it has been completely captured by the golden ring! The celestial ring is purifying the solar fire into gentle, boundless spirit energy!"

Down in the valleys of Aethelgard, barren fields of dry clay cracked open.

Green sprouts burst from the soil at visible speed.

Withered peach trees blossomed into dense, pink canopies that filled the air with sweet floral perfume.

Ancient spirit springs that had run dry five centuries ago began bubbling with clear, sweet water that shimmered with golden luminescence.

The common people of seventy mortal kingdoms poured into the streets, dancing and cheering in delirious celebration.

"The Golden Age has arrived!" the town criers shouted. "The Patriarch of the Seventh Spire has granted us eternal spring!"

Three thousand leagues away, in the imperial capital of the Western Sky Empire, Emperor Aurelius fell to his knees before his dragon throne.

The grand spirit towers of the imperial palace were vibrating with pure golden mana, their storage batteries recharging to one hundred percent capacity in seconds.

"The Sovereign of Solitude has blessed all under heaven!" Aurelius proclaimed, raising his imperial scepter toward the sky. "Declare seven days of imperial feast! Release all non-violent prisoners! Every temple shall burn incense to the Lord of the Hearth!"

Even beyond the border of the mortal realm, in the freezing vacuum of the Outer Dark, the creation of the Dyson Ring was felt.

High Sovereign Xylarion and Arch-Herald Mal'Zok stood on the observation balcony of their surviving flagship, staring through the dimensional veil at the golden ring.

Xylarion’s obsidian face was pale, his starlight-blue eyes wide with horror and reverence.

"He... he bound the sun in an iron collar..." Mal'Zok whispered, his shadowy form shaking violently.

"Not an iron collar, fool," Xylarion hissed in trembling awe. "A crown of creation. The Supreme Lord of Solitude has tamed the cosmic flame. If we had persisted in our invasion, he would have wrapped that golden ring around our entire galaxy and crushed us into stardust!"

Xylarion bowed deeply toward the golden ring, pressing his hands together.

"We thank the cosmos that we signed the Porch Treaty," Xylarion declared solemnly. "Henceforth, the Outer Dark shall strictly enforce the quiet hours. Zero void thrusters shall fire near this sector. Any captain who emits more than twelve decibels of engine noise shall be thrown into an unshielded wormhole!"

Up in the geostationary orbit of the Seventh Spire, the 108 Western Sky dreadnought moonlets were glowing like lanterns.

Grand Marshal Vane-Talon stood on the flagship bridge, taking off his gold-braided bicorne hat and pressing it over his medals.

His chief sensor officer collapsed beside the brass helm, trembling as he clutched a crystal slate.

"Marshal! The solar resonance has locked!" the officer stammered. "Our dreadnought propulsion arrays... they are recharging without fuel! The solar ring is transmitting free wireless power across twelve star systems!"

"Quiet yourself, son," Vane-Talon murmured, his mustache twitching with profound reverence. "You are looking at divine infrastructure. Keep the moonlet formation stationary. Ensure the fairy lights remain at half-brightness. We are the decorative lawn ornaments of an ancient deity, and we shall behave with decorum."

Around the flagship, the three Abyssal Star-Whales swam lazily along the glowing perimeter of the golden tether.

Their twenty-two hertz cetacean song reached a crescendo of pure celestial bliss, harmonizing with the rhythmic hum of the white dwarf in Felix's dantian.

They leaped playfully through the vacuum, their glowing fins splashing through streams of golden stardust that showered down upon the dreadnought hulls like glittering jewels.

Down on the cedar porch of Solitude Spire, Lyra Ashford stood beside the low wooden table.

The Sovereign Heart Seal under the table leg hummed with profound, peaceful harmony, leveling the cedar planking with absolute microscopic precision.

Beside her, Lord Nether-Bane leaned on his iron garden rake, his skeletal grin stretching from earhole to earhole as purple embers danced merrily in his empty sockets.

"Well, look at that, Mistress Lyra," Nether-Bane chuckled, his jaw clacking happily. "The Master went out for a quick signal check and ended up putting a solid golden belt on the sun. That is what I call an efficient afternoon stroll."

"The Senior Brother does not merely stroll, Groundskeeper," Lyra replied, her eyes shining with tears of absolute devotion. "He establishes the eternal laws of creation while reclining upon woven reeds. His peace is the peace of all living things across the three realms."

She picked up the brass tea kettle from the porch hearth.

Even without lighting charcoal underneath, the kettle was gently whistling.

A soft, amber aura of Dyson solar warmth radiated from the floorboards, keeping the mountain tea at a steady ninety degrees Celsius forever.

"Look," Lyra whispered in awe. "The mountain itself makes tea in his honor."

Up in his geostationary wicker recliner, thirty miles above the singing whales and weeping sages, Felix Vance was already dozing off.

His straw hat was tilted down over the bridge of his nose.

His violet void-silk robe kept his body at an unshakeable, soothing seventy degrees Fahrenheit.

He tapped one final setting on the AetherDeck before setting the handheld down onto his lap:

【Auto-Sort Inventory: Stardust Ore -> Deconstruct to Compost -> Deposit in Shed】 【Afk Sleep Mode: ENABLED】 【Screen Dimmer: 95%】

On his chest, the glass screen dimmed into energy-saving sleep, quietly executing its automated macro sweep every four hours without requiring another tap from his fingers.

Barnaby the clockwork owl perched on the footrest of the recliner, the rubber stopper snug in his beak, his internal gears purring in microsecond sync with the golden ring around the star.

The ping was twelve milliseconds.

The daily harvest was fully automated.

The tea was warm.

And Felix Vance, the undisputed supreme slacker of the heavens, drifted into the most peaceful nap in the entire cosmos.
